30-Year-Old Yulia Pavlikova Represents Bulgaria at Miss Universe; Shainis Alondra Palacios Cornejo of Nicaragua Wins

We are excited to share that 30-year-old Yulia Pavlikova from Kerch, Crimea, represented Bulgaria at the Miss Universe competition, where 23-year-old Shainis Alondra Palacios Cornejo from Nicaragua emerged as the winner. The event took place in El Salvador and was broadcast on YouTube.

Yulia achieved a commendable 30th place in the competition. Her Instagram profile shows that she was quite thrilled about her participation. “I can’t believe it; I’m currently in America at the most prestigious Miss Universe competition, among 84 countries worldwide. Everything is happening so fast that I’m savoring every moment and just enjoying the happiness. The Miss Universe competition has transformed my life, giving me a new burst of energy and inspiration, and most importantly, new ideas and motivation to keep going. Today, my face graces the screens of New York, on the legendary Times Square,” she wrote.

Pavlikova’s father is Bulgarian, which allowed her to participate in the 85th edition of the national competition and subsequently represent Bulgaria at Miss Universe.

Yulia is a mother of two and is building her own business. She has extensive experience in beauty pageants, having entered the Russian Book of Records as the most decorated beauty queen with 15 awards, according to dir.bg. Pavlikova began her modeling career at 17, moving to Paris, and a few years later signed with a Chinese modeling agency, walking in shows for Prada and Gucci. Today, Yulia runs her own modeling agency, MFD, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling and speaking about her native Crimea.
