The Most Beautiful Bulgarian Women for 2019!!! Have Been Chosen!!! On the eve of September 25th, at an elegant ceremony in the Diamond Ballroom of the Ramada Sofia Hotel, the new Miss Bulgaria World and Miss Universe Bulgaria 2019 were selected! Before a select audience, 23 representatives from all over Bulgaria competed for the coveted crowns of the national competition Miss Bulgaria World 2019! During the competition, a total of 7 Bulgarian beauties were chosen to represent Bulgarian customs and traditions at the seven biggest beauty pageants in the world.

The winners are: Miss Universe Bulgaria 2019 Laura Asenova, born in the town of Byala Slatina at the age of 25, with a height of 1.70 meters and measurements: 86-58-86. She will represent Bulgaria at the most prestigious American beauty pageant, Miss Universe 2019, at the end of the year. Miss World Bulgaria 2019 became Margo Cooper at the age of 26, a Bulgarian with Russian roots. Height: 173 cm, measurements: 87-58-88. She will represent Bulgaria at the 69th edition of the oldest and largest beauty contest in the world, Miss World 2019, in December in London, United Kingdom. The runner-ups are: Miss Grand Bulgaria 2019 Victoria Vaseva at the age of 23 from Sofia. Height: 174 cm, and measurements: 90-60-90. She will represent the country at the international contest Miss Grand International in October in Caracas, Venezuela. Miss Tourism Bulgaria 2019 Fani Apostolova, 18 years old from Pleven. Height: 180 cm, and measurements: 85-60-90. She will represent the country at the international final of the Miss Tourism World 2020 contest in Guangzhou, China. Miss Asia Global Bulgaria 2019 Eva Dobreva, 19 years old from Varna. Height: 175 cm, and measurements: 86-68-94. She will represent the country at the international final of the Miss Asia Global 2019 contest in November in Kochi, India. Miss World Model Bulgaria 2019 Dasha Uzun, 20 years old from Chisinau. Height 170 cm, measurements: 92-62-90 cm. She will represent the country at the international final of the Miss World Model contest in Shanghai, China. Miss Ocean Bulgaria 2019 Monica Rusimova, 23 years old from Sofia. Height: 176 cm, and measurements: 85-62-90. She will represent the country at the international final of the Miss Ocean 2019 contest in Taipei, Taiwan. The face of “Bok Star Models” became Fani Apostolova from Pleven. She also won the sashes of “Ivet Fashion” and “Radiant Professional Make Up”. The face of Stoyan Radichev and “Lokomotiv Plovdiv” became Simona Milova from Plovdiv. The face of “Princess Casino” became Emilia Asyanova from Lovech, and the face of swimwear “Sugarfree” became Veselina Stoyanova from Sofia. All winners were awarded crowns encrusted with gold, silver, and precious stones, as well as travel of their choice to Minsk, Belarus and Istanbul, Turkey. The winners also received VIP vouchers from Victoria Spa, and gifts from “Kwiat” and “Cristal Zone”.

Among the members of the jury were: Chairman of the honorary jury – Veneta Krasteva, licensee and director of Miss World and Miss Universe for Bulgaria., singers Vasil Petrov and Bratya Argirovi, architect Kalin Dikov, Zornitsa Atanasova – chairman of the political movement “For Bulgaria”, Tatyana Kostadinova – chairman of the association “Spiritual Mirror”, architect Plamen Miryanov – founder of the foundation “Our Home is Bulgaria”, artist Stavri Kalinov, Nigerian footballer Steven Eze, fashion photographer Kostadin Krastev – Coco, Ivett Grigorova – owner of the fashion agency “Ivet Fashion”, “Miss Bulgaria World 2017” – Veronika Stefanova, Gyorsel Kyorov – general manager of the Ramada Sofia Hotel, Atanas Meschkov – official choreographer of the competition and designer Stoyan Radichev. Artist Stavri Kalinov made a surprising compliment to the organizer of the competition Veneta Krasteva, presenting her with a unique painting on stage.

This year, the cause of the competition was for children in disadvantaged situations, so the organization Bok Star Models and the Ramada hotel supported children from the orphanage “St. Nicholas” led by Hieromonk Ioan (Father Ivan). At a special event organized in their honor, the children met the contestants for the crowns and chose their favourites. Classics from the “Bulgarian Frank Sinatra” Vasil Petrov, pop performances and golden hits from the legendary stars of the Bulgarian stage Bratya Argirovi, funk and jazz from the brass band “Junior Band” to SU “Emilian Stanev” from Veliko Tarnovo, conducted by Jordan Tsvetanov, were part of the entertainment show program of the event. The hosts of the contest were Eva Kikerezova and Niki Kanchev. Artist Stavri Kalinov made a surprising compliment to the organizer of the competition by presenting her with a unique painting on stage. The gala spectacle went through three parts. Under special choreography, prepared by choreographer Atanas Meschkov, the participants presented themselves in Bulgarian folk costumes by designer Svetla Dimitrova from “Aries unique”, evening dresses by designer Stoyan Radichev and swimsuits “Sugarfree”. For the glamorous look of the contestants, including makeup and hairstyle, the qualified team of hairdressers from “V&A Glamour” and makeup artists from “Radiant Professional Make Up” were responsible. The limousines of “LimosBg” took care of the comfort during the travels of the beauties, and the Ramada Hotel and Victoria Spa provided cozy rooms for relaxation and a SPA corner. The guests of the event were greeted with selected sweet and savory snacks, fruits and local temptations at a pre-arranged cocktail party in the hotel lobby. A selected 4-course menu and drinks from “Better Half” and “Ledenika” contributed to the mood of all VIP guests in the hall. The official media partners of the event were Eurocom and Bulgare.
